LMI Survey

The City of Linwood is applying for a Community Development Block Grant from the Kansas Department of Commerce.

This grant will be used for the Community Center Rehabilitation.  A professional architect will complete a report on the building.

It is necessary that the City conduct an income survey to determine our qualifications for the grant funds

PLEASE READ, FILL OUT, & SEND BACK YOUR SURVEY BY JULY 27, 2018 for those who did not get a chance to fill out this survey, a representative from the City will be going door to door to get this information within the next couple of weeks.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DRINKING WATER

The City of Linwood has Levels of Haloacetic Acids Above Drinking Water Standards; The City of Linwood is going to increase the sodium permanganate by 4mgl. to reduce the organics that might be in the water, in turn to reduce the HAA5's in the water.  We anticipate resolving the problem within 90 days.  More information can be found on this website and notices were mailed to each customer with their water bill.  If you have any questions please call or visit the City Hall.

Veggies Available      

Vegetables are available every Tuesday at the City Park from 6p.m. - 6:30p.m. 

This service is provided by the Linwood Lion's Club; with the produce grown by inmates at Leavenworth Penitentiary.
