This is the letter that was sent to David Howard concerning the water pressure and sewer space.

March 20, 2019

David Howard

2008 N. 155th St.

Basehor, Ks. 66007

To David Howard:

This is the written response that you were requesting per letter dated March 11, 2019.

During the City Council Meeting last night it was decided:

1.  The City of Linwood does have the estimated 1,500 gallons per day with our current sewer system

and yes the sewer system is the City of Linwood's responsibility.

2.  The City of Linwood does not have enough water required by the State Fire Marshall  of 1,700 gallons

per minute for a 2-hour duration.  The existing storage tank that the City of Linwood has at this time

would empty within the 1st hour.

3.  The City of Linwood can not meet the current City water infrastructure but have a contract with Rural

Water District #10 and in conjunction with them, the City of Linwood can possibly provide the

requirements needed for the new elementary school.
